  • Analyze RFQs, RFPs and RFIs to create proposal outlines and development plans
  • Assist with proposal kickoff, meetings, proposal plans, schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices
  • Facilitate brainstorming and developing solution sessions
  • Research and gather corporate information, product information, and other standard materials for writers
  • Maintain, augment and improve library of reusable components, templates, and processes
  • Use company color scheme, Government requirements, and Proposal Manager compliance matrixes to develop compliant writing templates
  • Import and format graphics, tables, bullets, focus boxes, action captions, and theme statements into attractive, space-saving design templates
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve document or file issues
  • Maximize space and ensure visibly compelling content within the confounds of RFP requirements
  • Check page numbers, graphic/figure numbers, headers, footers, table of contents and figures, cover pages, and all other formatting for compliance with RFP mandated parameters
  • Review document for proper grammar, correct spelling, defined acronyms, and correct punctuation
  • Identify areas for clarification
  • Synchronize all sections for one voice
  • Develop acronym list
  • Work with writers to develop and update graphics
  • Validate compliance with RFP size and font requirements
  • Review proposal for compliance, responsiveness, and ease of evaluation
  • Provide actionable recommendations for improvements

  • Collaborate with the Capture Manager to develop meaningful, bid-specific strategies, themes, differentiators, and key points that sell our approach and tell the “why us” story (Pre-RFP, Pre-Kickoff meeting)
  • Elevate involvement and efficiency of strategy and messaging by fostering
    integrated BD, Capture Manager, Proposal Manager, and writer collaboration and hand-off during Kickoff
  • Draft compelling, overarching Executive Summaries that clearly define our approach, strengths, and differentiators
  • Design high impact, cross-cutting graphics that support the messaging
  • Participate in color reviews to validate compliance, ensure themes are properly incorporated for maximum impact, identify and correct gaps, and assess cross-proposal messaging and consistency
  • Search for new business development opportunities through SAM.gov, GovWin, GovTribe, and other sites
  • Add and manage opportunities on the pipeline calendar
  • Create reports and presentations to update staff of potential opportunities and changes in release or due dates for tracked or active solicitations
  • Assist with identifying resources requirements, coordinating proposal assets, prioritizing opportunities, and adjusting plans as opportunity release and due dates shift
  • Identify win themes and strategies
  • Develop persuasive messaging and goals for each session
  • Create slide deck and allocate time per slide
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop content for presentation
  • Coach presenters on verbal and non-verbal presentation techniques, including articulation and body language
  • Practice and role play orals, including responding to questions in a formal setting, practicing in front of an audience, fielding unexpected questions
  • Conduct orals review and incorporate recommendations
  • Analyze RFP requirements and identify all cost risks
  • Develop price-to-win analysis and base proposed pay rates
